Educationally, Dr. Manolas obtained his Doctor of Medicine from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens Medical School, followed by a general surgery residency at NewYork-Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist Hospital in New York City.

In his over three decades of serving the community, Dr. Manolas emphasizes the importance of patient relationships, dedicating time to counsel and educate patients and their families. His experience has cultivated exceptional surgical judgment, technique, and skill, which he applies in every procedure. He maintains a strong presence post-surgery, guiding patients through their recovery journey.

Dr. Manolas holds several key positions in the medical community. He is the Chief of General Surgery, Ambulatory and Outpatient, at Lenox Hill Hospital, a clinical assistant professor of surgery at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, and an assistant clinical professor at SUNY Downstate College of Medicine. Moreover, he was the president of the Hellenic Medical Society of New York and is currently on the executive board of the same society.

His leadership roles extend to being the co-director and founder of RSS and ISS, and he chairs the medical advisory committee of AION Biosystems. Dr. Manolas is an active researcher, having authored or co-authored several scientific studies. He is currently the co-chief investigator of two novel cancer studies focusing on the detection of peripheral blood tumor circulating antigens.

His clinical footprint is widespread, holding active clinical roles, teaching, and operating at Lenox Hill Hospital, Mount Sinai Hospital, Brooklyn Hospital, Englewood Hospital and Medical Center, and Stamford Hospital in Connecticut.
